While Newport was bringing the bombs, Malibu was bring the long workable lines that Kelly Slater and Larid Hamilton enjoyed during Hurricane Marie. Even though Slater was in the water the real stars out there where local surfers Shane Borland, Matt Pagan, Dillon Perillo and making an epic appearance Allen Sarlo.

Jordy Smith

A very nice 6 minute segment of how Jordy Smith feels about his home break and his beloved Jeffery’s Bay. Jordy is one of the best surfers out there right now. I had the privilege of sharing a session with him at Lowers this year. That day at Lowers he was destroying every waves out there like it was his home break. I look forward to seeing him rip apart the Lowers contest this year.
